We are an open access to law organisation that is seeking submissions from law students, academics, legal practitioners and judicial officers. Our website has a very large number of hits every month and we have recently decided to start a new program encouraging the activity of legal scholarship on our site. We are planning to electronically host a Google+ Hangout Based Conference during the first week of September 2013 where we intend that people with an interest in the legal industry will participate from all over the country in an online discussion relating to an article submitted prior to the online event. This event will be free for all participants and hosted entirely online.
We are therefore calling for papers on all areas of law. Here is how it works:
1. Write an greater than 500 words in length about your chosen area of law. We accept overviews, case summaries, general articles and anything else of academic relevance to the law. Make sure that the article is completely unique and not copied content. We will put it through a copy scape test. Also make sure there are no links or other HTML type in the content. Include a photo if you have one and your contact details like address, phone number and email and the organisation that you are currently employed with. Our editors will also look over the submission to check that it is acceptable for publication.
2. Build a link from your existing website or profile page to any page on our site or you ask us to build it to your profile page once it is on our site. If you don’t have your own website, just sign up with google plus or google places and then place a link from your profile page to the intended URL of publication on our site.
3. We will review your submission and decide where to place your submission on our site. We will try to place your profile associated with either your area or law or with associated with the state that you are located in. We will also then setup the Google Hangout for a time nominated by you.
Just remember that while the content is displayed on our site, it is our intellectual property and we can remove it at any time at our discretion. Also, we will check that the link that is place is a permanent “do follow” link.
